Sunny Tuesday & Good News

It's been a busy week here with 4 cases of strep throat in the family (my 3 daughters plus myself)! However, good news came in the middle of all of that...one of my wallhangings is going in McCall's Quick Quilts magazine in July 2011 (guess they really plan ahead over there)! I'm really excited to see the quilt in print as it's a tribute to my grandmother's garden.

This week I'm working on a Hawaiian pineapple pillow that is hand applique'...not something I love doing but I bought the kit in Hawaii and I really want to see it through. I'm also figuring out what my next project will be...either a lighthouse quilt or the Hawaii photo quilt that I bought supplies for at the Maui Quilt Shop!

Thursday!

Just finished a blue and yellow floral wallhanging!!! Feels good to have it done...now I'm on to the next project. This next quilt is a charity t-shirt quilt and then I'll be back to designing some new patterns!
